At Wireside, we believe strong work starts with strong people – their ideas, their effort and how they support those around them. That’s why we’re proud to share that our founder and co-CEO, Joya Subudhi, has been named a finalist for rvatech’s EmpowHER Award.
This award recognizes women who not only succeed in their own careers, but also help others grow. That focus has been a consistent part of Joya’s approach to leadership.
Joya founded Wireside before the age of 30 with a clear point of view: Technology can drive meaningful change and the people behind that change deserve visibility. That perspective has shaped both the agency’s work and its culture.
In a fast-moving industry that is dominated by some very large agencies, Joya built Wireside to be different. Wireside is a people-first, performance-driven agency where diverse perspectives are valued. Today, 71% of our team are women, and mentorship and career development are built into how the company operates.
Joya’s impact extends beyond business results. She is actively involved in mentoring and developing talent, helping women step into leadership roles and navigate long-term career growth. Her leadership style is often described as performance-focused, financially disciplined and direct. That balance has created an environment where expectations are clear and support is consistent.
Her work also reaches beyond Wireside. Joya regularly supports and promotes women across the broader tech ecosystem, helping ensure that female founders, executives and technologists are represented in industry conversations.
Today, Wireside continues to grow and evolve. Over the past year, the agency achieved 18% growth, expanded its team and received recognition from the Bulldog PR Awards, SABRE Awards, Bell Ringer Awards and Ragan’s Top Places to Work.
I would like to congratulate Joya on being a finalist for this award and recognize her for all the work she has done over the decades to make Wireside flourish and to help others grow and shine. Being named an EmpowHER finalist reflects that work and the impact she continues to have on her team and the industry.
